A recap of the week of Take Back the Capitol actions, from http://wisconsinjobsnow.org/2011/12/12/take-back-the-capitol-recap/
Wisconsin’s 99% Heading to Washington, D.C., on Monday to Take Back the Capitol. Here are some of their reasons!

Thousands of Americans are going to Washington, DC in the first week of December to make the voices of the 99% heard and counter the influence of the 1%.
We’ll be joining the many community groups, unions, religious organizations, and unemployed workers going to the nation’s capital from December 5-9th to break the grip that corporate lobbyists have on Congress.
The problem in Washington is that too many members of Congress listen to corporate lobbyists from K Street and their campaign contributions instead of the 99%. Now the 99% are coming to the corridors of power to make our presence felt.

We declare a state of Economic Emergency for the 99%
We’re tired of being drowned out by the voices of Wall Street. We’re sick of acting grateful for crumbs from politicians. We won’t tolerate one more cut or corporate giveaway. We’re done sacrificing to make the rich happy while we live in fear.
We demand that our voices be heard. We demand that the richest 1% pay their fair share and that we immediately put that money to work creating good jobs, rebuilding our communities, and strengthening our country. We believe that in a nation as rich as ours, there’s enough for everyone.
Sign up for alerts today, and stay connected as the movement pushes forward.
Why march on November 17? Because the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. We have to stand up and say enough is enough.
November 17: National Day of Action
Over 25 million Americans need work but Congress can’t pass a jobs bill.
As joblessness pushes more people into safety-net programs every day, Congress cuts funding.
Three years after big banks and Wall Street ruined our economy, the gap between the richest 1% and the rest of us grows daily.
Despite his campaign promise of 250,000 new jobs, over 45,000+ Wisconsinites are out of work less than a year after Gov. Walker took office.
Defying relentless calls for change from millions of people, Congress, Wall Street, and our governor continue business as usual, enriching themselves at the expense of the rest of us. They’re not just ignoring the 99%. They’re making life much worse.
Enough is enough. Join in a national day of action to declare an economic emergency for the 99%. Across the country, thousands of people will rally on decaying bridges, the symbols of neglected opportunities to put people work immediately. Join in the demand for a country that works for all of us, not just the 1%.
